Islam has always honoured the sanctity of the natural world. The earth is Amanah, a trust from Allah, and we are its caretakers. The Plantation Drive is Soban Attari's commitment to turning this belief into visible, lasting action.
Each drive mobilises hundreds of volunteers who plant trees, restore green spaces, and strengthen the ecological resilience of their communities, all in the spirit of Sadaqah Jariyah (ongoing charity). A tree that gives shade, fruit, and oxygen is a gift that keeps giving long after we are gone.
"If the Hour (the day of Resurrection) is about to be established and one of you is holding a palm shoot, let him plant it if he has the ability to plant it before the Hour is established."
